Breeding Bird Atlas

Starting in 2008 the Yolo Audubon Society is undertaking a five-year project to atlas the breeding birds in the county. Below are links to resources supporting the effort.

Data management will be facilitated through the BBA Explorer, hosted by the USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center and the National Biological Information Infrastructure.

All Maps in Yolo County BBA Territory
If you see probable or confirmed evidence of breeding birds outside the 20 blocks currently being surveyed, please make a note of exactly where, the evidence you saw, and the date. If you need more Breeding Bird Field Cards, please download them here (we appreciate your using a field card for each block you survey for each date; cards will be collected as hard copy data).
