    Yolo Farmlands

    Field Trip

  • Date: 03/25/2012
  • Time: 07:30:00 AM
  • Sunday, March 25 Yolo Farmlands

Time to again drive some of Yolo County’s back roads and see what our diverse agriculture offers in the way of bird habitats. The great thing about spring? We will still have some of the wintering migrants lingering, many of our year-round birds doing what comes naturally, and some spring migrants on their way to their breeding grounds.
We’ll meet at 7:30 AM at the Park and Ride Lot near Mace Blvd and I-80. (Entrance on Second Street near the new colorful water tank). Bring binoculars if you have them, water, snacky foods and weather-appropriate clothing layers in case of wind, heat or cold. We’ll return mid-afternoon. For questions call Mary Schiedt at 530-400-7094
