    Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area

    Field Trip

  • Date: 03/07/2010
  • Time: 07:15:00 AM
  • This trip to the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area will provide a look at our seasonal wetlands as winter changes into spring.  Some of the wintering waterfowl may still be present and we will look for the early spring migrants like Violet Green Swallows.  The YBWA always has something of interest and we will find it.  This trip will meet at the Mace Blvd & I-80 Park and Ride at 7:15 in Davis.  We should be back in Davis by 1 pm.  Bring binoculars, water and a snack (and a scope if you have one).  We will share scopes for the distant birds for those who do not have one.  Contact leader Roger Adamson with questions (530-219-2067, or rhadamson@ucdavis.edu.
