Sandhill Cranes Of The Central Valley

Come to our January meeting and hear a timely talk on Sandhill Cranes by Paul Tebbel. He’s currently the Executive Director of Friends of the River, but for 11 years he was the Manager of Audubon’s Rowe Sanctuary on the Platte River in Nebraska. He’ll fill us in on Sandhill Cranes of our area as well as of the Central Flyway.
On the following Sunday we’ll be going on a field trip focusing on Sandhills, so come learn about these elegant birds on Wednesday, January 20th. We’ll be back in our old location of the Clubroom at the Veterans Memorial Center, and at our usual time of 7:30 pm. Come early for cookies and conversation.
