    Birds Of The Watchlist

    Field Trip

  • Date: 04/18/2010
  • Time: 07:00:00 AM
  • We’ll celebrate Paul Revere’s ride by seeking bird species in habitats that may be affected by development and other human activities in Yolo County, particularly species on the Yolo Audubon “Watchlist”. Some birds on this list are Spotted Sandpiper, Oak titmouse, Acorn and Downy Woodpeckers and Yellow-billed Magpie. In addition to birding well discuss conservation planning activities and look at habitat management that can enhance habitat values for birds.

Meet at the Northstar Parking Lot , 3500 Anderson in Davis, at 7:00 AM. Bring binoculars, lunch, water and dress appropriately for April weather. For questions, leave a message for trip leader, Chad Roberts, (530) 756-6761.
