    Woodpeckers Of The Forested West

    Program

  • Date: 11/18/2009
  • Time: 07:30:00 PM
  • Do you love woodpeckers? Do you wish you knew more about our western
woodpecker species? We’re very lucky to have Steve Shunk coming down
from Oregon to give a talk at the Central Valley Birding Symposium
that weekend. He specializes in owls and woodpeckers and will have so
much information to share that we shouldn’t miss both opportunities to
    hear him.

We will again be at the Davis Senior Citizens Center, 646 A Street
between Russell Blvd and Eighth Street on Wednesday, November 18. Our
meetings start at 7:30 pm, but come a little early for cookies and
conversation. Bring a friend, especially if you know someone who no
longer drives at night. There is angled parking along the side and
behind the building, or parallel parking on the street.

Don’t miss this interesting talk! (And do consider attending all or
part of the Central Valley Birding Symposium if you’ve never been.)
