    East Bay Wintering Birds

    Field Trip

  • Date: 11/28/2009
  • Time: 07:00:00 AM
  • This all-day field trip will afford participants opportunities to see
a variety of wintering and resident birds at close range, including
ducks, gulls, rails, shorebirds and waders, all within an urban
setting. The area often plays host to one or more rare or uncommon
vagrants. Participants walk on flat, accessible trails from which we
    scope-out the birds.

Meet at 7:00am at the Nugget Center parking lot in South Davis, behind
Burger King for carpooling. Pack a lunch and drinks for the day. Dress
in warm layers and wear comfortable footwear. We will return to Davis
around 5:30pm. Ideal field trip for beginners. Heavy rain cancels.
