    Bodega Bay

    Field Trip

  • Date: 04/06/2008
  • Time: 07:00:00 AM
  • Bodega Bay is always great for wintering waterfowl, but this early spring trip adds a new twist. Imagine grebes and loons in their glorious breeding plumage. During this short window of time in early April, we hope to see birds that have not yet migrated, but have molted into their summer attire. Meet at 5th and C streets in Davis at 7:00 am and plan to return by 5:00 pm. Bring binoculars, a lunch, water and dress in layers. Bring some warm clothing, as coastal weather can be unpredictable. For information, call Dave Stoebel at (530) 756-7645.
